Can't get stimulants due to past history
I drank heavily from 2020 to 2023 because of the pandemic and a very stressful living situation at the time. I was taught from a young age to always be honest, and it has worked against me to get the stimulants I need to function because. Even though I've been sober for almost 3 years, no psychiatrist has been willing to give me stimulants because of my drinking history. I have been prescribed 5 different medications to try already over the past 2 years and none of them worked. What are my next steps?
