Possibly ADHD/ADD, advice?

I was diagnosed with depression, insomnia and anxiety during secondary school and although I have had clear signs of this (frequent panic attacks and past suicide attempts etc), I have felt different for as long as I can remember and I have family members with ADHD and Bipolar.

I don't believe in self diagnosis but I have in the past and recently researched and recognise many symptoms in myself such as:

Forgetful and misplacing my things.

Easily distracted and irritable.

Difficulty organising.

Restless and fidgety.

Unable to concentrate.

Excessive talking.

Recklessness

Highly creative and energetic at night.

Never finishing tasks.

Taking up multiple hobbies.

Mood swings.

Impulsive

And so on.

These are just some that I identify with, I have always been called lazy, a day dreamer, a perfectionist/procrastinator and have done okay in all my exams despite no effort but still have low self-esteem.

I'm just seeking some advice, is it worth speaking to my therapist/doctor?

I think it could be useful, I'm diagnosed with ADHD, unspecified mood disorder, and anxiety, so you could have more than one.
