ADHD support
Hi everyone.
I often forget important things, such as tasks, appointments, or where I put my belongings. This is affecting my daily life and making it difficult to stay organized.
Does anyone have practical tips or strategies that have helped them improve their memory and remember things more consistently?
@Aymin
Welcome to cups 🤗 🩷
It might help you to buy an organiser and write down your daily tasks ticking them off as you go along.
This will take the pressure out of the situation for you 🥰

Hello, I'm honestly trying to figure out myself, but so far I've developed this strategies : specific shoes for house chores, I use a lot the notes on the phone and the calender app, alarms during the day to figure out what time is it / last call to go to bed. I'm currently working on the postponing activities that I can do now, is hard, I hope is going to work eheh

@Aymin I hear you completely. It is so deeply frustrating when your own brain feels like a leaky bucket and things just slip out.
One thing that helps a lot of people with ADHD is the concept of 'Visual Homes.' If an item is hidden in a drawer or a closet, it basically ceases to exist. Try using clear bins, open baskets, or hanging organizers where you can physically seeyour belongings. If it's visible, it's much easier for your brain to track.
Sending you a lot of support. Be patient with yourself while you figure out what works best for your routine!
Always remember to be careful and happy
