COVID-19 has actually been better for me living with ADHD, anyone else?

I don't know about anyone else, but the quarantine and school shutdown has been a positive thing in my life. I of course want it to be over, for everyone and especially for those suffering or at risk. But I can't help but think that the e-learning/going at your own pace, and the less stress and hurry has been really helpful. I've also been working more, and it helps get some of the energy out. The lack of structure was scary a first, but making my own structure (when I follow through) had been really nice. Anyone else with ADHD or otherwise been experiencing positive things in this time of crisis?

@BellaY

I'm glad to hear that you are doing well! I personally don't have ADHD but as a somewhat more introverted person, I can say that the quarantine has helped me with self-paced activities. I'm able to get a lot done and stay productive.

@BellaY I'm a high school teacher teaching from home and I have found that my students with ADHD have been performing better. I think it's the lack of friends to distract as well as being able to make their own schedule rather than having to adhere to one. This situation is definitely a unique time to discover new things about ourselves now that we are given the opportunity to play around with our routines. It's quite fascinating actually! Good for you for being able to self-reflect.
