@neonSquare6144

Until you are able to see a physician, could you read up on those subjects and just educate yourself? There are tons of articles and videos that you could view.

Hi @neonSquare6144 :)

In my experience sensory discomfort can be part of ADHD and/or autism. I've got both and it can be hard to tell which one is causing the difficulties at times. I find it more helpful to think of my struggles individually and then try to find ways to mitigate them. For example my struggles with needing clarity when other people communicate could either be A) autistic need for certainty or B) ADHD boredom and needing to get to the point quickly. Either way, I prefer people to communicate clearly and accept that I'll often ask clarifying questions.

I can understand the desire to know yourself better and figure out why things are tricky for you. Spending time in these forums, connecting to listeners with AuDHD experience and reading about AuDHD might help you understand yourself more :) Is going to the doctor about this an option for you right now?

Take care,
