How did I forget I have ADHD?

I’m going through trauma recovery and my therapist called me on self-shaming of my ADHD symptoms. I’ve been looking at trauma recovery without the adhd lens…

Does that make sense?

It's ok to not always know how yo navigate these things.

It takes time 💛

And support 💛

I honestly think a lot of people with ADHD have moments like this. Sometimes you get so used to dealing with it that you forget it's the reason certain things keep happening. Then it suddenly hits you: "Oh yeah... I have ADHD." Don't be too hard on yourself. It doesn't mean you're lazy or not trying. Sometimes your brain just works differently, and that's okay. Little reminders, notes, or routines can make things a bit easier. You're definitely not alone in feeling this way. ❤️
