I am not sure of the context that you are referring. For me, I am very receptive to the effects of caffeine.

If your Tachycardia permits, a cold to cool shower can be stimulating.

When I feel completely stuck, I try to make the first step almost ridiculously small. Instead of telling myself I need to finish something, I focus on doing just two minutes of it. Sometimes that's simply opening a document or putting one thing away.

I've also learned that I don't always have to feel motivated before taking action. Sometimes motivation follows action.

And if even that feels overwhelming, I try to understand what's making the task so difficult rather than criticising myself for not doing it.

For me, the goal isn't to force productivity, but to make starting feel a little more manageable.
