I hate when I get told that I use the excuse of “my ADHD” but I never say anything. I fidget a lot cause I can’t handle sitting still. I don’t focus, not cause I don’t want to but because I can’t. other than that I don’t mind. Some people find my “random adhd thoughts” funny. Like,
Do catfish meow? Do dog fish bark? If not what sounds do they make?
or the fact that I can hyperfocus on something like research projects always helps too. Idk I trailed off a bit XD

Oh man, I totally get what you mean! It's so annoying when people brush off everything with the "Oh, it's just your ADHD" excuse. Like, hello, it's a real thing that affects one in all sorts of ways!
But, at least we can find some humor in it, right? I mean, those random ADHD thoughts can be pretty hilarious sometimes. Like, seriously, do catfish meow? Do dog fish bark? These are the deep questions that keep us up at night. And not to forget about the superpower of hyperfocus. When we're in the zone, we can conquer any research project like nobody's business. It's like our brains have their own turbo boost button. It's pretty awesome, if you ask me. But really, it's important to have people around us who understand and appreciate our quirks. You're not just making excuses, you're dealing with a genuine condition.
So keep being your fabulous ADHD self, embrace the random thoughts, and find the humor in it all. And if anyone tries to dismiss you, you'll just hit them with some quick-witted ADHD humor. They won't know what hit 'em! Stay awesome!

First off, EXACTLY like we can have a short attention span BUT still be able to focus. We just gotta get in the zone first.
Secondly, FR tho lol. The kind of things we can think are can be extremely entertaining if people would just listen tbh.
And thirdly, thank you. Same goes for you <3
