My Journey with Generalized Anxiety

Growing up in a turbulent, high-risk home left me perpetually anxious, my mind locked in hypervigilance, rumination, and obsessive-compulsive thoughts—frozen in time. Now, married to a supportive partner, it's a relief that we've got each other's backs even when life isn’t always sunny. Even when there are times when we don’t fully see eye-to-eye, it feels hard to understand or forgive one another. Despite our shortcomings and weaknesses, I've realised that we’re committed to growth, building a better life, spreading positivity, and giving our best every day.

Thank you for the encouraging share! I had a similar start in life. I'm also very fortunate to have the right partner.
