Ritalin doesn't work on me
Ritalin doesn’t seem to work for me. I still struggle with focus and motivation, and it’s also very expensive in my country (even meth is cheaper and easier to access 🙄). Has anyone else experienced something similar or found an alternative that helps?
@MaraSalvatrucha13 There are many types of ADHD, many people who experience it differently, you are not alone! Amphetamines like Adderal are the much safer version of meth, and many find great success with various formulations, some are short acting, some are long lasting, some are mixed salts, some are variations like lisdexamfetamine (Vyvanse). Also something to consider are the non-stimulant medications like atomoxetine (Straterra) or viloxazine (qelbree) - although that last one i think might be expensive. Also, I know some have success with off label uses of blood pressure medications, guanfacine (Intuniv) and bupropion (Wellbutrin), so there are more options.
