Space from overwealm
I thought I posted this, don't see it.
My girlfriend got overwealmed and needs space. Been a few weeks and I'm better with it now. I'm blocked on the phone but that's fine.
I'm stuck wondering if I'm ever gonna hear from her again or I'm just tossed out and forgotten.
My own insecurity pushes negativity.
It's been 2 weeks . I don't know how overwealm works. Will she need more time ?
Has it been long enough?
I want her to reach out but being positive she will is dragging this pain out longer.
I feel like my mind wants closure or assurance and I can't find a balance.

I understand that your girlfriend wants space and that's fine and her right but I don't understand the need to block you and not communicate.
Relationships are about healthy, honest and positive communication and processing our emotions not running from them.
I hope you hear from her soon, your feelings matter too 💕 💜

Well, she started to withdraw. I didn't help because I had fears of losing her. She started distancing from emotional issues and I noticed.
Didn't understand over my own needs.
Something at home sent her over the edge and the last thing she said was that she needed space because she was overwealmed.
I was blocked because I didn't respect the space and was trying to still quell my fears.
Since then there's been no contact.
Just a note with a soft hello, take the space you need, I'm here when your ready.
I haven't crossed a boundary per say, I don't go to her work or stalk her to talk in person.
I've read different things but still worry that there's a reactive fear that would prevent her from reaching out.
Like she is gonna just be gone and say nothing for fear of shame or guilt. Or is she still processing and grounding.
I stay positive but my own ADHD trauma issues tend to not reflect reality and I start to spiral.
it’s ok to need space we are all human at the end of the day!

@intellectualBlackberry8149I’m really sorry you’re going through this. It’s natural to feel uncertain and want closure when someone you care about needs space. Giving her time can be tough, but it’s important for both of you to heal and understand what’s next. Two weeks can feel long, but sometimes people need different amounts of time to process. Try to be kind to yourself and focus on things that bring you peace and strength during this time. Remember, your feelings are valid, and it’s okay to struggle with the uncertainty. You’re doing your best, and that matters.
