so I’m certain that I have ADHD but I self diagnosed it. And my question here is for the ppl who got diagnosed by their doctor did the treatment worth it? Did your life changed? Or do you regret taking the meds?

my biggest issue in life is procrastination including social procrastination and if anyone had this please share your experience here

My life did change. I had no idea that the problems I had with procrastination my whole life weren’t just a matter of not trying hard enough of having enough willpower. And the issues I had with anxiety were actually symptoms of something else.

I started taking nonstimulant ADHD medication 1.5 years ago and it has literally changed my life. (I’m almost 60 years old). It doesn’t supercharge me to get things done, but now when I procrastinate, I do it intentionally 😊. Or I know that if I don’t want to be social, there’s probably a good reason for it and I trust myself more.
