frustration with meds

Started vyvanse a few weeks ago, titrating gradually from a very low dose, I was so excited to actually start a medication to help manage my ADHD but this particular med feels like it's had the opposite effect. Every day that I'm on it, my patience is non-existent, I feel tense and on edge all day, everything is annoying to me, I get random hot flashes and it feels like I have even less motivation to finish anything I start. I have another appointment with my psych in a few days, she's told me that I can message her about any side effects or concerns that I have, and that's what I really should be doing instead of posting about it here to the void ***. Why would someone put me on this knowing I have such a high level of anxiety already??
