@ghostgrl

Hello GhostGrl;

what are some symptoms?

ADHD symptoms are patterns of inattention and/or impulsive actions that affect/effect development or functioning.

no one talks about?” I am thinking of the meaning ‘lesser known symptoms’.

Are we referring to symptoms such as Hyperfocused or low tolerance for boredom? Or is there particular symptoms that is concerning you?

is it possible to have been faulty evaluated therefore dismissed?

When humans are brought into the equation, it is possible. We are fallible creatures and make mistakes.

If you were evaluated wrongfully, get another opinion.

Perfectionism, and the need to do impressive things. Apparently my constant unwavering fear of failure is common among people with ADHD, but nobody seems to talk about it.

What called attention to my adhd was how much I struggled in classes I didn’t like. I would try to focus but my brain wouldn’t be having it. I would count tiles on the ceiling and not even know what was going on in math. Also having to reread the same paragraph repeatedly to actually absorb the information in school. Impulsiveness, boredom, anxiety, executive dysfunction, forgetfulness, etc. My brain makes strange connections that don’t make sense to neurotypicals.

Something took me by surprise as I've grown older. I've noticed that I'm quite sensitive to noise and I've struggled to define whether this was autism or adhd but overtime I've come to recognise that sounds bother me because it makes it harder for me to focus on whatever it is I'm trying to concentrate on and therefore making things overwhelming.
