Overworked and Burnt Out
My job is pretty fun. It relies upon me being charismatic and persuasive. However there are two jobs underneath mine that are very work intensive like paperwork. I’m a big believer that the boss should be able to do everything their staff can do and I can and do. But the company I work for is a little strange because if you are under performing you can’t be held accountable unless you say it nicely. Which is fine by me but at the same time there should be a certain tone that says do better. But even that is too much for them.
so I am doing other peoples jobs because two people are too sensitive and play victim and when speaking with HR today, they weren’t helpful at all. I just feel like giving up and just doing my job but if I had that attitude it would reflect poorly on everyone else who actually is working and on the department that I’m running.
I don’t wanna shut down but I also know that fighting is not gonna work. I thought before and lost twice and I genuinely enjoy my job so I don’t wanna fight again. I need to figure out how to let things go and just allow people to suck. And I’ll take it personally.
FYI - I used speech to text.
@ShutdownAngry You cannot just allow those two keep doing this by playing victims! You better try to kick them out, or start doing their work by themselves.
