Have you ever lost your job at the critical moment of your life?
I got an email this morning on being relieved of my duty because the company is going bankrupt, I haven't been myself, because I'm truly at that stage where I need the job the most but I can't do nothing, well I have to be strong and move on, I do hope I pass this phase, sometimes life sucks.

*Comforts you* That is horrible news, and is stressful at the best of times. But when it is so important to your current situation it throws up extra challenges. It is very sad that it was done in such an impersonal way. Not that the news would ever have been pleasant, but it would have been more considerate to offer face to face consultation. I am very sorry it has happened to you. It is easy for someone to suggest "don't let it get you down" but that does not change how one feels. What might be worth keeping in mind though is that it sounds like it is due to a complete business failure and so does not reflect upon you or your work.
It can be hard to pick oneself up after something like this, and I can empathise with the feeling of powerlessness and anxiety. As trite as it may sound, maybe this will give you an opportunity to find something that suits you even better. When one is in a job it is a lot harder to get motivated to look elsewhere. I very much hope that you can indeed find something that suits your needs and that you feel like you are getting back on track soon.

Yes. It happened to me. It was at the begging of COVID. I lost my job. It was one of the jobs I loved the most. And there was no return. Almost at the same time I had some very serious personal and family disasters. 2020 was a terrible year.
When your ship sinks for the first time it's scary. But half of my former employers do not exist anymore. That's capitalism... I have a good job now, with self-growth and great friends around, but I am having nightmares someday it may happen again. Doing my best and smiling, but at the same time prepared to take place in a lifeboat if ever necessary again. But I am still alive, breathing and... feel happier now? 😊
