How to balance school and life
It feels like I really have no time for myself and the only thing that runs in my head are assignments and tests that I worry about. I really don’t know what to do because I want to balance school life and do things that I enjoy. Today, the only thing I did was school work and I didn’t even go outside.

That sounds really overwhelming, and I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. When your whole world starts revolving around assignments and deadlines, it’s so easy to lose yourself in the stress and forget that you matter outside of school. It’s exhausting when every waking moment feels like it belongs to your responsibilities instead of you.
You deserve to have time for yourself not just as a reward for finishing your work, but because you’re a whole person outside of being a student. Even if it’s just stepping outside for a few minutes, listening to a song you love, or taking a deep breath without thinking about the next thing on your to-do list, you deserve that space.
I know it’s hard when everything feels urgent, but you don’t have to earn rest you need it. You deserve it. And I promise, the work will still be there, but you’ll face it so much better if you give yourself even a little bit of time to just be You’re doing your best, and that’s enough. You are enough.
@hongjis001230 I hear you, that sounds exhausting. School can take over your life if you let it, but balance is super important. Sometimes, a little break can actually help you focus better. You got this! 💙
@hongjis001230 I’m really sorry you’re feeling this way. It sounds like you’re under a lot of pressure right now. That’s a really hard place to be in, and I just want to say this: you’re doing your best, and that is enough. You’re not weak for feeling overwhelmed. You’re not lazy or behind. You’re human. School can feel like it takes over everything sometimes, especially when the to-do list just keeps growing. But even if today felt like it was all work and no joy, I promise you it doesn’t have to stay this way forever. It can get better.
@hongjis001230 Sometimes it helps to start small. Try doing your homework outside, playing music on your way to school or even making meals differently if you are making your own breakfast and lunch. Also doing homework during your class may help if you are a person that enjoys multitasking. When my sister was young she used to complete her homework before she left the school by working on it in class.
