Hi everyone.

I just want to share something with you, Basically I’m doing my internship in a place as you know university requirements before graduation.

I feel like I can’t communicate or engage as well my attendance was horrible even the boss showed me that this is yours and why I was like sorry and when my university advisor he was kind to speak about me but he mentioned the absence and the communication like she need to improve this I was like fine I like the truth . Anyways I don’t know how to communicate or speak about this work because I’m not knowledgeable like them they are smart and speaks very well and know every aspect in life.

If someone will advice me how I can improve my weak personality it really makes me feel unwanted and no one respect me when we speak because I respond something else or not know the exact respond .

Also sometimes I think about my clothes maybe it’s not nice to them see me wearing this no makeup I don’t know ( Before I was putting a daily makeup and everyday I wear something new ) if I don’t look good I skip my uni class , BUT know i feel a bit lazy especially every day at work from 7 tell 7 pm because I finish internship I go to uni for my evening class .

1- man they feel interested to me but when they speak with me they lose the spark .

2- dressing well is hard

3- taking care of skin a lot but still I have pimple

4- I want a princess treatment

5- I want a lot of money

6- I want a real pure love

7- I watch porn i tried to stop it but I can’t

8- I’m searching for the truth

9- I want new Bike ( Colnago) or trek I love cycling but my bike is really bad and everyone in that community you need to change it also it’s uncomfortable

I know I mentioned a lot of things out the main topic but maybe those is affecting me or I think about them more or escaping idk but I hate people I feel they through their problem on others while creating terms to justify their case like I don’t answer to people that blbla or I can said no whenever I want or I feel I

All you can do is your best.

And as hard as it is not overly focus on what other people think.

Dress as you like.

Be you.

And the right people will see that.

And accept you.

Don't ever try to change just to fit in.

And keep working hard, you are not lazy, just going through alot 💚🤗

Thank you for this reminder. I’m learning to focus on my growth and not on fitting in. I’ll keep showing up and working hard 🫶🏻

I understand its hard.

For a long time you've been in an environment, school and university, where image can be soooo very important. And now you've moved to an environment where image takes second place. It's hard to adapt.

I think if you take a look around at your workplace, you might realise that the majority of people are putting far less effort into the things you are putting a lot of effort into. There is a reason guys tend to wear white shirt and dark pants at work. Because it makes it easy! - they don't have to think about what to wear. I bet not many of them are wearing makeup either. It is OK to pick a couple of smart outfits and rotate them. And most adults know teenagers get spots and would see it as more odd if you didn't have a pimple.

Work is daunting. Of course you want to make a good impression. And likely you know that this opportunity is important for many of your goals. It's natural for this situation to cause some anxiety. But what a shame it would be if anxiety prevented you from getting what you want. The workplace is trying to tell you that they prioritize attendance over image. Can you accept their challenge, confront the anxieties and concentrate on just being there?

It won't be easy. But I can tell that you want to succeed. So I have a lot of faith that you will. Next time you look in the mirror, take a moment to tell yourself that you can do this. Because I know you can.

It is OK to make mistakes. It is OK to have a bad day. It is OK to not be perfect. Because all these things are human, and you are human. Come celebrate being human with us.

Honestly, I really needed to hear this. I think I’ve been putting too much pressure on myself to look perfect instead of just focusing on learning and showing up. You’re right this opportunity is bigger than my anxiety. Thank you for reminding me what actually matters 💌
