Stress Related to Job-hunt

Hi, I'm feeling overwhelmed by everything that's going on in my life. I have been looking for a job for sometime, not that long though. But it's eating me from the inside. I feel like a failure and incapable. I work as an Executive Assistant (Secretary to the C-suite), but I've left my previous organization earlier this year. Plus, I have Borderline Personality Disorder. I'm having my BPD episodes along with continuing my job-hunt. I also have a bit of family issues and zero social life - I have no friends, no one to talk to or understand me.

😔

You are not a failure or incapable.

You are going through a difficult patch but with no support 💛

Be gentle with yourself.

It's so hard in this life when you have no one to vent to,we can take it for granted.

I hope things improve real soon on the work front 💛

Feel free to pop into a sharing circle and share in a supportive and non judgemental space, you'd be welcome 💛

Hi, I am so sorry to hear this and it's really normal to feel overwhelmed with job hunting, you're not alone ❤️ You are also not a failure nor are you incapable!!

It's super normal to be going through a difficult period and it's even harder to do anything with no support.
Please be more compassionate and gentle with yourself ☺️

Good luck on finding a job and hope things improve❤️

Hey, I came across your post and it sounds like you’ve got a lot on your plate right now. Job hunting by itself can be exhausting, so dealing with that on top of everything else must be rough.

I’m not going to throw a bunch of generic “stay positive” advice at you, but I’d be happy to talk if you ever feel like it. I’ve spent quite a bit of time around job searching, interviews, and the tech side of things, so I may be able to help in a practical way too.

What kind of jobs are you looking for at the moment? Are you trying to stay in Executive Assistant / administrative work, or are you thinking about moving into something different?

Hi, I read what you wrote. Two years of job searching and repeated interview rejections sounds exhausting, especially when you’re also dealing with rent and no steady income.

I recently started a small group focused on long-term work collaboration, and we currently have one open spot. I don’t know if you’re still actively looking for work, but if you are, I thought I’d reach out.

It would be a collaborative arrangement rather than a one-time interview practice session, and I can also help with the technical side and interview preparation along the way.

If you’re still searching and interested in hearing more, let me know. I can explain how the group works, what each person would be responsible for, and then you can decide whether it makes sense for you.
