It’s often not easy to work for wages.  Bosses can be a pain.  The work can be tedious and unrewarding.  It can be really hard to get out of bed and face the grind.

Still, it’s hard not to work under someone, unless you’re the king of the world.  If self-employed, the customer becomes your boss.  If you manufacture stuff to sell, the market dictates what you produce, then you have to negotiate with others to find a way to sell the stuff.

I think the only way to not work for someone is to be rich enough to not need employment.  There are however, plenty of rich people who are still taking orders from someone else.

Regarding serial mishaps, although I consider myself to be a spiritual person, I hesitate to attribute misfortune to a form of messaging from the universe.  It might be considered a message when someone for better or worse, experiences consequences for their actions.  There are also plenty of things that happen that appear random, and a lot of negative stuff happens to us that’s not our fault.  One thing for sure is that how we react to “mishaps” can affect our personal growth, including our spiritual aspect.  It can be reasoned that even if we react poorly, the experience can be instructive, so mistakes can also be instruments of progress.

That is a spiritual perspective – that all of our experiences, both positive and negative, can help us grow.

It does sound as though you feel “out of place” in your current job.  I would be interested in hearing why you feel as though you can’t work for anyone.

If you’d like to talk a bit more about this, please let me know.
