What are your coping skills?
Situation: Doing the best possible and communicating on what is needed. Unfortunately, someone sabotaged your work on shift change and by the time you receive extra help hours later after asking very early… so many people are there and if you step away you might not have a job. Instead, tile brain has taken a break from thinking and when people keep asking you what to do just nothing.
Question: Any scenario takers that can offered an experienced point of view on how to cope when you can’t even think?

It sounds like you’ve been doing your best in a really tough situation, and it’s incredibly frustrating when someone sabotages your work, especially when you’re already feeling overwhelmed. I can understand how, after everything, your mind just shuts down, and it’s hard to think clearly when so much is happening at once.
In moments like this, it can help to take a few deep breaths and focus on just one small task at a time, even if it’s something simple. Sometimes, stepping away for even a minute to regroup—if possible—can make a difference. It’s also okay to ask for support from someone you trust, even if it’s just to talk through what’s going on.
If you can, try to prioritize what needs immediate attention and let go of the rest for the moment. Coping in these situations isn’t easy, but you’re not alone. If you need to talk more about what’s happening or just need a listening ear, I’m here.
