Too Much, yet too little

I’m falling apart at work lately. There’s nothing really to do on the floor, the office personnel are getting on nerves, can’t say anything for suggestions.

Just before the new year, there was a major turnover in the office of my workplace. The main boss was normally no where around and things were going ok.After a couple retirements and just people  leaving; the office was getting slim.  The main boss came in and doing sweeping changes, and adding staff. I don’t think anyone in the office has a clue how to do their jobs anymore. Best example person ment to be measuring and drafting, been proven can’t read a tape measure.

Changes like forcing everyone on the floor to do more office/paperwork stuff which was always handled in the office before. things like quoting work, or determining details (like materials, or who does what), keeping track of inventory. None of us did it before, nor want to…. but now have to.

So we are scheduled to be in, go in and have nothing to do but sweep the floor and scrub machines.Its not our problem there is no work to do. Then if a job comes along, it’s a bunch of running around trying to contact costumers/suppliers to confirm what is needed because somewhere our office personnel scrambled something or don’t want to deal with anything.

Its getting down right annoying pitiful now.

I’m just about out of ideas to keep from completely losing it.
