Umm, it's not my area of expertise but how about.. Lego, 3d puzzles?
Colouring books, you could jazz up a picture frame and include a sentimental photo inside or maybe customise a mug with a logo or photo too?
Or a homemade trinket box for valuables? I can't think of anything else sorry :)
