Should I keep drawing ?
I've been drawing for years now. Not consistently or everyday but whenever I can. Drawing is something I find really fun, healing and satisfying.
But even thought, I don't like my art. I keep comparing myself to others. When I hide my sketches behind my textbooks or computer's folders, other people are confident and proud of their work so much that they boast about it.
I feel like I'm stuck and can't be better than the level I'm currently am at. Even realistic portraits are exceedingly hard to draw for me and that's usually what people perceive as "real art" where as mine tend more into a cartoonist style.
I don't appeal to manga readers either because my style has deviated from that one too. As I peruse my drawings, I find them flat and boring and the drive for it is extinguishing.
Is there really a point to keep going? It's only this year I've started posting on the most obscure site I could find, Cara.(sorry for Cara enjoyers but I didn't know it even existed beforehand)
I also don't like showing my drawings to people I know due to past history and strange/rude reactions. I really don't know what to do anymore.

You won't always be everyone's cup of tea but that's fine.
If you are passionate about it and you enjoy it, then keep going!
Don't let others deter you from doing what you love 💜🥰
