1) I’ve been feeling completely exhausted and flattened. It seems like I’m being thwarted in everything I try and accomplish. But I took a lot of rest this weekend and spent time reconnecting with people. And I’m going to try and continue this. 2) I get to work outside all week! I think it’ll be good for me. And I get some long drives where I can listen to podcasts. 3) working to get my dog to be able to come live with me. Right now I live in a remote place and I’m at the mercy of the housing decision makers. But things might be looking up. Either way I’m sure it’ll be a process.

1. I’ve been feeling oddly better. I’ve been lying to myself that “everything is gonna be okay” even though my logic/depression/anxiety/whatever it is has been telling me otherwise. But the lies have been working. 2. This week I plan to work, of course. I plan to finish shading my most recent work. And job hunt. 3. Hopefully a new job. One that isn’t so labor intensive but still pays well. (One can hope, right?)

I am annoyed. Have to do multiple things at once.

To make my work better, to practice mindfulness, to make other things done.

To improve my work actually and to contribute to my own projects more.

1. How are you doing?
Well, after missing my period entirely last month, I was hit with it this morning and want to curl up into a ball. A mostly metaphorical ball because I still had to do stuff this morning. I'll curl up into a ball later when I have time.
I took a shower, took my meds, and then iced my injection site while playing video games and waiting for my hair to dry. I took the shortest walk because exercise helps cramps, then came back home and ran into a neighbor I could have sworn the manager said had moved out. Then I made the mistake of saying that to her face and she might bring it up to him and create some conflict with me and my shitty memory at the center.
I also ran into Richard, the home health worker who has been staying in her apartment since she's been gone and I learned that the tenant had been in the hospital for gallbladder surgery. So I apologized to him for making an assumption based on what little I knew and was told.
2. What are your plans for this week?
To calmly wait for my SSDI check to come in. Maybe I'll answer an email from the Work Incentive Planner, it depends on how soon he heard back from his contact.
3. What are you looking forward to in February?
Valentine's Day, if only for the massive amount of chocolate involved in the holiday. Damn, I wish I had some chocolate right now.
Chocolate does help with periods. Maybe you should start Valentine's Day early... Only kidding. I am sorry for the conflict with the neighbors. That is never easy. @integrityblues

It wasn't so much a conflict as it was an embarrassing misunderstanding on my part. It sort of makes me look like an idiot in front of the actual tenant, and I'm already awkward enough around new people.
I also just sent an apology email to my apartment manager since I must have initially misunderstood what he'd told me before.
And yes, I want the chocolate, but can't afford that right now so I'm just drinking coffee.
Remind yourself that everyone makes mistakes. I would have probably done the same thing. @integrityblues

I am a little shaken up because I almost got into a car accident on the highway this morning. Still feel very dazed but trying to overcome this feeling.
2. What are your plans for this week?
Mostly go to work, I also have to read some chapters for school and catch up on my classes.

I think I am long overdue for some social interaction! I am hoping for a reduction in our covid cases so the restrictions can lessen. I just want to sit with friends, laugh and talk while we lick icecream cones. Is that too much to ask? Lol. I honestly just want a happy and healthy February for everyone!
Sorry about the almost car accident. That is always so disorienting.
I too would love some ice cream with friends, though perhaps it could get a bit warmer first. It is going to happen eventually.@Invisibility101
