Hi. I have a husband, two kids (3 years old and 4 months old), a dog, two cats and living in a nice house. Yet I feel unhappy and feel like there is no joy in my life. I am constantly on edge of crying. It is not PP depression as I am not unmotivated to care for my baby and I love her to bits. Although I feel like I want to run away (which I wont of course) because my whole day is about taking care of others. The cats the dog the kids the house. My husband is listening when I share my feelings but I feel that he don't know how to handle it and it feels like he want to brush it under the carpet. Nobody is taking me seriously when I say I cant take it anymore. I want to be heard! I am spriritual and I truly believe the reason I have sore throat constantly because nobody is listening.....I am thinking about taking counseling sessions but I live in the UK and I know the sessions would be over the phone which I am not comfortable with. Some days I feel like I dont even want to live and it would be easier for everyone around me if I was gone.....

Hi, UK as well..

I think this is something a lot of.mums.go through

What's mine, what's for me, all I do is change nappies, I used to go out. You need to make other mum friends, who also have nothing, but loads to do. Mumsnet, school pickup, anyone pushing a buggy..

Or ask your husband for a night off and go round.a.girlfriends...

I think people go through this in a variety of situations in life. You just have to know you are not alone. Find some time for yourself and remember that the people here are willing to listen. You are amazing.
