Anyone else around 30 still living at home with their parents? It’s been just about a decade of this phase and I’m really not having a great time with it. It just sucks so much because this home environment is so toxic but I barely have the energy to find something to eat much less pull myself away from the drain I’m stuck in. I have at least been working the majority of the time I’ve been here but recently I had to cut back my hours pretty severely. It only recently occurred to me that I must have been running at an 7 or 8 out of 10 on the stress meter for like a decade because when I started this awful insurance job (a market I despise with my whole being and have never wanted ANYTHING to do with) at the beginning of the year I’ve been crashing ever since. Sleeping through alarms, skipping hours, unable to get out of bed later unless I order some random delivery all the while being dead tired after only working 2-3hrs a day and not even getting restful sleep after 12-20hrs. You would think the increasing debt and lack of income would motivate me to do… something but no. Just more sleep. I was diagnosed with depression back in 2016 but it got significantly worse this March-July. Anyway… just rambling I guess. Wondering if anyone else is dealing with this particular brand of despair. Thanks for reading…

youre not alone in the feeling of despair or depression. I feel it more often than I would like to admit. I listen to motivational speakers to help. I’m trying to train my brain to believe thoughts that are different than what they are thinking currently. Life is Soooooooo tough😔
