What would you tell yourself at 17?
So many things. Not date my first boyfriend, go off to college, always put myself first
I would tell myself to never be afraid of asking questions and to stand up for myself more and to let all the negative people in my life go.
@limegreenPlum9327 I love this post
@shebebutlittlebutsheisfierce
I'd say the same thing to myself, I'm sorry
it gets worse
@Jpmk what do u mean
@SisterHaleemaCounselor depression, stress, life. All of it gets worse as time progresses.
@Jpmk im so sorry to hear this.
@SisterHaleemaCounselor you don't need to apologise, it's not your fault.
@Jpmk have you talked to your GP. Had an assessment
@SisterHaleemaCounselor yeah, got referred to therapy for the unemployed, then luckily and ironically I got a job the week before my therapy. So couldn't mKe it, so no never received it.
@Jpmk aaah I see. Ok. Have you found some ways to cope. What sorts of things help when you have these feelings
I know you're having a hard time coping up with something and trying to balance it out with your studies is really difficult. Don't worry though for in a couple of months, you'll meet a nice girl whom you can vent out to and she'll soon become important to you.
Also, just do your best with your studies. Don't be sad if some of your quizzes are low, there will be a turning point and I promise you that you'll graduate. You'll make mom proud.
I would tell to myself: You are still very young and completely ignorant so try not to do something so stupid lije getting married too young.
"Don't drink that, it won't help you at all."
Invest in yourself!
to stop worrying about what other people think.
