Alone
I feel so alone all the time
Realizing that I spent 5 years of my life with people that I can’t call friends because they don’t view me as such was the one thing that tipped me off the edge
Things that made me happy before just make me feel worse
I don’t want to feel like this anymore
I’m tired of pretending I’m okay because nobody cares enough to listen to my problems
I’m tired of fixing everyone else’s problems and not having anyone to try to at least listen to mine

That is an incredibly relatable. I spent 15 years loving an in-law family when I was strong and giving. Did so much for them, anything they needed, really generous with everything I had. Then I needed a little help, not even that, just some well-wishes, some understanding, some time to rest and heal on my own, and in return they threw me away and worse.
And now, a few years later, I am glad they are gone. I didn't need fake friends. Some other lucky people have gotten to know me since then, 1 at a time, chance meetings that started with the guts to leave the house and smile and say hi to someone. JUST THAT. Just start with smiling and saying hi to 1 person per day, don't start a conversation just smile and see that wow, sometimes people do smile back with an open expression. Go where you like going, do what you like doing, free from the 10 ton weights of fake acquaintances. Go where you like going, do what you like doing, just smile and say hi for a few weeks or months. Before too long it will grow into a conversation with a real friend who is RIGHT NOW HOPING AND PRAYING THEY WILL FIND SOMEONE WHO IS AN ACTUALLY GREAT FRIEND, THEY ARE RIGHT NOW PRAYING TO MEET YOU AND THEY ARE HOPING THEY WON'T BE TOO JADED TO SAY HI OR SAY HI RIGHT BACK...
Good people find each other, I just found you and you just found me, wouldn't have happened if not for the common experience of lousy people in our rear view mirror! ... (*** flock together too, maybe your ex-acquaintances will meet my ex-acquaintances 😂 goodbye ... let 'em go.)
