As I slip into oblivion - poem trigger warning

The pills taste bittersweet on my tongue

How many crisis numbers have I rung?

My depression works the graveyard shift

In the morning my mood shall surly shift

Can you hear my inner demons roar?

Voices that shake me to my core

Pen and paper, my feelings pour

I'm left wanting more and more

"Remember the good times"

I dont need to hear another one of your lines

"Just distract yourself"

But im left weeping on the self

Dear void can you hear me at all?

Please catch me, im about to fall

Hello DryUnseen, that was deep. You have a skill for writing poems.

Sorry for your struggles, I would hope there's something that helps you when "your demons" start asking for your attention. Did you detect a good coping mechanism that could be useful for you?

Could writing poems be one of them?

Sending you good vibes 🤗
