I have borderline personality disorder which makes treating depression pretty difficult. In the past 3 years, I’ve tried 4 different anti depressants & they don’t seem to work. I’m beginning to wonder if I have treatment resistant depression?

i am in therapy & it helps in the moment, but when I get home, my mood gets so low. I have very little desire to do anything. Cleaning is impossible. Lately taking a shower feels like it takes so much energy that I don’t have. All I want to do is sit on the couch.

I’ve had a few issues that have majorly stressed me out which isn’t helping.

any advice would be nice. Thank you for listening ♥️

@courageousSea9764 I'm truly sorry to hear that you're going through such a challenging time. Dealing with depression, especially in the context of borderline personality disorder, can be incredibly tough. It's commendable that you're seeking help through therapy, and it's okay to acknowledge the difficulties you're facing. Progress can take time, and your dedication to finding solutions is significant. If you haven't already, discussing your concerns with your therapist might provide insights into adjusting your treatment plan. Additionally, finding small activities that bring you comfort or joy, even in moments of low energy, might help you in the meantime. Sending support and care your way.
