Blood test before prescribing antidepressants
Why doctors don’t run any blood tests before prescribing antidepressants? They just guessing the type and doses? Are they taking a responsibility in case of size effects?

Why should they? Is there any dependency between the kind of the antidepressants and blood type?
As a rule, every pharmaceutical has its side effects, and with prolonged use it can lead to addiction (psychical, chemical or both).
Because it seems such a make sense things to do. For example depression might be caused by hormones changes but they don’t check it. It might be because of parasites or other health problems. But they hide the symptoms under the medication and never dig deep into where it comes from

Hormones, hypotension or hypertension (or other similar problems), diabetes... Yeah, I agree they can mimic the symptoms of depression, and it's good to know it before starting any treatment. But psychiatrists seem to be rarely aware of that, so some people choose to check it on their own.
As for parasites, I would be careful about that, because recent years there was a real explosion of the entire parasite-paranoid business, and they may be too eager to provide people with fake positive test results, just to sell them "a cure".
