Living with a chronic illness really damages my quality of life. I wish I could peel my skin off. I look forward to the day when I can take off this mortal body.

Relatable, most relatable... We are in the same boat, or at least two boats in the same choppy sea. Chronic illness is truly a b***h. It robs one's life of joy, of any kind of contentment.

Wish I had advice for you....get through it one day at a time, maybe. That's what I do.

@Tripleplay A nice offer, thank you. For a second I thought you were a Listener. 😄

So what's the deal with you, if I may ask? I have what was diagnosed as Meniere's disease, plus chronic tendinitis, sinus problems in general (allergies) & chronic depression. Oh yeah, also IBS...embarrassing but true.

@Tripleplay Hi there,

I understand your frustrations. It is hard living with a disability and especially when it is causing you a great deal of turmoil. We can only do our best with whatever hand we have been dealt and can always think positive, engage in self care activities, and shape our character/minds into something we can appreciate and be proud of. Try drinking some water and doing some meditation or deep breathing exercises.

Let me know if you ever need to talk, we are here for you,

E

@Tripleplay hugs you tightly ❤ I'm so sorry sweetie chronic illness and pain, is so hard to live with😥 do you have a certain time of the day, where your feeling not to bad to get things done?? In the mornings for me, I wake up in a low constant pain that gets significantly worse through the day. So in the mornings I like to do what I can to make me happy, like watching the sunrise and art.  And then 7 cups and relaxing candles/ music to distract myself before going to sleep. Do you have any times of relief, with your illness?? Is there anything fun, you can still do? I know disabilities take over our lives, but gotta find happiness in the little things whenever we can ❤❤ gives you a giant tiny hug ❤ how are feeling now??

@Tinywhisper11

I love your tiny hugs. 😊🫂

I do have some times of relief, but I am going through a flare up. Sometimes the flares can last for weeks or months. This one has been for months and it’s spreading, unfortunately.

It just means that it is time for me to start going back to the doctor to get more assistance.

My life is filled with many responsibilities so the stress can be another factor that cause the flare up. I have to figure out ways to manage my stress and know when I need to take a break.

The problem is that some of my responsibilities and participating in the gospel work. I don’t want to lose my blessings over this. I would rather fix my sinful natures and overcome by taking better care of my health so that I can still preach and join church activities. When I was obedient, my health improved tremendously. However, when I started to go down the wrong path, it started to get bad again. Now I’m trying to do better.

@Tripleplay your a very good person ❤and it is important to keep going as long as you can, so your gospel/church work is great to do, and a very social thing for you as well ❤ I think going to your doctor would be a good choice, take all the help you can. Chronic illness is draining and so so very hard, especially when it flares up😥 just rest whenever your body tells you to! I really hope this passes soon for you ❤hugs you tightly ❤❤ I'm right here for you ❤ I love you

@Tinywhisper11

Thank you, Lola. I agree and your support means a lot. I am also here whenever you need me.

🫶🏻🫶🏻 I’m trained. I been doing this for years. I am sure it will pass. Making myself available for others does help even if I have to isolate at times.
