Why does it hurt when someone leaves? Why am I waiting still
Even when you know it was temporary, how does one not have emotions?

I don't think that there is ever a point where you don't have emotions even if someone is leaving for just a little while. But being in pain doesn't make you a bad person or a weak person.
I wish that it were somehow less painful. Sometimes it is easiest to keep really busy with other things for a while. @unassumingreader
