Do you ever feel…like…stuck??

tw: sh mentioned

honestly can’t quite put it into words, but it’s like the feeling that everything is in a repetitive loop and you can’t get it to stop. Wake up, school with people who bully me and friends I don’t really know, then going home and stressing about school until I go to bed late again and wake up tired. I can’t seem to make new friends, even though I’m almost in highschool and I know I’m going to NEED those social skills if I even want to be recognized from class to class. I’m working out, eating healthy, trying to express myself. But it seems like everyone just wants to tear me down and I’m getting sick and tired of it, even doing self harm to try and get rid of the pain. I just don’t know what to do, plus my anxiety has never been this bad about anything. I used to love school, so I don’t know what happened

Hello. I am about to graduate, but I've been in your shoes before. I experienced being excluded from friends in middle school which lead out into high-school where I was blatantly bullied by the same group. I found myself through allowing my own thoughts, ideas, and humour to be free and not capped by a group's opinion.

SH helped to direct my pain when no one understood what I was going through. The same harm turned into su***dal ideation. Words choked up before I could ever let them loose. I shrunk and allowed my environment to take over and swallow my self-image.

You do not need friends to tell you you belong in your own skin. Scarred or not, you're here, with all the rest of us who are silently struggling. You are never alone.

If anything, I'd suggest getting more in touch with yourself. I am no longer friends with those people. In fact, I have acquaintances—no real friends.

It is better than putting myself through ***.

I hope you decide what's best for yourself. You know your thoughts and hurt more than anyone else ever will. Do not voluntarily suffer for someone elses gain. There's only one you.
