I don't know how to deal with it, all the advices that I get is basically be delusional and create ur meaning, but when I try to do that I find myself in the same rollercoaster

maybe I need that motivation to keep on living, but I can't find it, life is boring and it's hard for me to convince myself of a meaning

All I do is for the purpose to distract myself and num my brain

Chasing happiness also doesn't help, those feelings hit harder when I do that

anyone else dealing with that?

Unfortunately, this often happens when we do not know what we want from life, and the advice of others only confuses us. Sometimes it speaks of fatigue from life. Sometimes - of the wrong goal, sometimes - of a traumatic past or negative influence, attitudes. In any case, you have the right to be yourself and if you do not want anything - this is normal. You can not live someone else's life, and if you still have not found meaning for yourself - this is also understandable. You must be with yourself, disconnected from others, let it be a day, two or a month, but you must do it and think where you yourself would like to go and how to live. In any case, your friends have the opportunity to help you. And in everything else - decide for yourself and be strong to cope with everything. Hold on!

I often feel the same way, and it sucks a lot. I struggle to make my own meaning and stick to it because it feels like an uphill battle.

I personally don’t think chasing happiness helps either. It’s a hedonic treadmill that never lasts and usually leads to burnout.

I can’t say what can help you find a way out—I face the same after all. But I try my best to do things even when I’m facing something so heavy. At the very least, I might as well help others. Perhaps if I try enough things and keep on listening, meaning builds up on its own. The other thing is just taking care of myself physically and mentally. It’s hard right now, but I think it can get better.
