Fear of failure

Why do people fear of being a failure when winning and failure are parts of life?

We run a different race and we would definitely get to our destination someday.

@Abasseth I think that's true, and also not every environment sees it that way 😅 often failure leads to a lot of invalidation and negative consequences 💙 

In the ideal world I'd agree wholeheartedly 💙 sadly, not everyone's world views failure the way we wish it would

speaking from a perspective of one who has feared failure (currently working on/around it) i think it stems from societal pressure that everyone has to help out, that there is a certain path all of us have to follow, that failing leads to judgement and stares, that success leads to praise. even in schools the tops kids never really feel no pressure because there’s that pressure of being first every time. success is viewed much more positively than failure, which fair enough bc it should. but the difference is starling enough that from childhood to now, some of us never fully recover from one failure that we had and the outcome that led to
