From someone who's no longer depressed

I was depressed the majority of the life I remember, and it started young so I didn't know until years later it was a thing. For me it was so common that I didn't even know there was a life out of it. It's not like there's a specific reason or explanation I didn't have a bad life or bad parents so I was in denial for years in guilt for not being like "other kids". I was sent to a kid psychologist back then for my bad grades and it just helped making me feel miserable and guilty. I'm 21 and somehow coping with the fact I spent the majority of my teen years (and pre teen) sad, depressed and isolated. Nothing in life prepares you for something like that. And honestly when I was 13, I didn't imagine making it to 16, being 16 I didn't imagine making it to 18 and so on. Turns out I'm still here and have no idea of what I'm doing but at least I'm trying

@batatakeso

😔

I'm sorry you had to experience all that and go through so much.

But I'm glad you are still here and you are still trying.

And I hope you find contentment 💜
