Giving Up on Dating
The dating app *** isn't panning out. I feel invisible. I'm tired of dropping into dm's on social media. It makes me feel weird and creepy. I'm tired of barking up the wrong trees. Burned a bridge recently. I feel like I'm never going to get the reassurance that I'm not doing weird *** or that I haven't crossed a boundary. There's so much guess work and leaping blindly. I hate it.
I am sorry that dating has been so frustrating.
There are other things than dating apps that will feel less like leaping blindly. What are your favorite things to do in your free time? Usually you can find clubs or something like that and ease your way in there. But you have to come up with a pretty broad range of things to try. Be pretty bold in imagining things you could do. Then you just go for a few meetings with a few people to see if you see anyone interesting. @oscarmarks
