Help
I don't know how not to feel like a burden to everyone in my life. Im not waiting on receiving disability. I've had nine surgeries, and my exs left me for that very reason. Im tired of giving my heart out and being rejected. I don't know how to let anyone love me because everyone has left me. How do i change this? I still have five more surgeries. Now im covered in scars and i feel ugly.

I'm really sorry you're feeling this way right now and I want you to know, first and foremost, you're not a burden. You're a human being who's been through an incredible amount of pain, physically and emotionally, and you're still here. That in itself is a quiet kind of strength, even when it doesn't feel like it.
Scars don’t make you ugly. They’re the marks of someone who has fought battles most people couldn’t begin to understand. They tell a story of survival. They’re proof that you’ve endured over and over again. That’s not something to be ashamed of; that’s something to be honored.
I hear the heartbreak in your words, especially around rejection and love. Being left, especially during your most vulnerable moments, creates a deep wound. It makes you question your worth, your place in others' lives. But the truth is their leaving doesn’t mean you’re unlovable. It just means they weren’t capable of the kind of love and empathy you deserve. And that’s not a reflection of your value. That's a reflection of their limitations.
You don't need to change who you are to be loved. You don't need to hide your pain or pretend you're fine. The right people the ones who see you, truly won’t be scared off by your truth. They’ll sit with you in it. And I know that kind of love feels so far away right now, but it's not impossible. You still have space for connection, for healing, even if it takes time.
Right now, be gentle with yourself. You're carrying a lot, and it's okay to grieve what you’ve lost and what you’re still going through. Just… don’t forget that the person inside of you the one still standing after everything is worthy of love, dignity, and peace.
You are not alone. And you are not too much. You're enough. Exactly as you are.
Thank you for those words they really touched my heart. Im learning that im stronger than i give myself credit for. I keep going and try to keep a smile on my face. The biggest thing im learning is to forgive myself. I made a decision not to talk bad about myself anymore. I have found a few friends that are wonderful to me and encourage me to be kind to myself. I know im the one that is in control of my own life. And that includes my own thoughts. Im hugging you back.
