@inventivePomegranate2774 I am so sorry for the loss of your father, Pomegranate. Grief can often catch us unawares and prompt a reaction we weren't expecting, out of nowhere. Sometimes, we're able to identify triggers - for example, yesterday was Fathers' Day in the UK, which can be a very sad and poignant time for anyone who's lost their dad. There isn't any timeline for grieving, just an acceptance that there will be days when we're reminded of our loss, and it feels like the bereavement is still fresh, as you've experienced. Is there someone you can reach out to, perhaps to share positive memories of your father? Focusing on happier times and evoking good feelings can help offset a lot of sadness around someone's passing. Journalling, or expressive writing, about both our sense of loss and of life since that time can help. Also including future plans and things to look forward to can be helpful with instilling hope. Sending you my best wishes for healing, Pomegranate.
