Share your recipes for herbal remedies, TCM, and essential oil recipes. I am big into that type of stuff and am looking to expand my apothecary. My main focus is pain relief, anxiety, panic, depression and insomnia :-)

@MysticRayne86 it’s always worth being careful with that stuff, u can usually check a couple different sources before trying any crazy recipes, but there are a couple simple things we do at home

I really like lavender for stress, just put a little in a fabric bag. If you want it to smell more strongly, you can microwave it for a bit

boiling rose petals in water makes rose water (who would’ve guessed) and u can put that in a little spray bottle and use it like a calming perfume thing

my mom also makes this tea, it’s lemon, ginger, and honey, it’s really soothing and actually great for sore throats

hope that helps :) ik it’s not crazy but it’s good simple stuff

Thank you for the concern :-) I am well aware of the dangers and what not. I have been to school to be a certified herbalist :-) i hope that didnt come across rude.

Thank you for the recipes! I will use the rose water one for sure. I love lavender it is a LIFESAVER

@MysticRayne86 also for TCM, Tiger balm :)

it comes in a tiny little tin, they have it at my cvs

u just put it on stuff like bug bites

idk if u can put it on a cut, or if it would be bad on an open wound

but it’s great for itchy mosquito bites
