I don’t feel like anyone understands me

I don’t feel like my significant other understands how it is to deal with depression. I am a father of 2 young girls, and work construction, and have been battling depression for 10 years now. I feel isolated being a father, and having little to no friends. I miss work sometimes because of depression being too overwhelming. Suicide comes to mind pretty frequently, but I stay here for my family. I am not sure what to do, I have tried antidepressants with no results
