I just feel lonely without him.
My boyfriend is in a different state starting a life for us and I couldn’t be more grateful but I get more lonely and sad everyday. I miss him dearly. He knows me and understands me better than anyone and being apart is so straining. We are doing amazing and he isn’t the issue at all, I just miss him and don’t know how to cope with such an empty feeling.

I really hear you. It sounds incredibly tough to be apart from your boyfriend, especially when you have such a strong connection. Missing someone who understands you so well can create this deep feeling of loneliness that’s hard to shake.
It’s completely normal to feel this way, and you’re not alone in experiencing it. Maybe it would help to focus on small things that bring you comfort or joy, even if they seem minor. Whether it’s diving into a hobby, spending time with friends, or just taking a moment to breathe and reflect, those little things can make a difference.
Staying connected with him, too—like sharing moments from your day or planning virtual hangouts—might ease that longing a bit. It’s okay to tell him how you’re feeling; he might appreciate knowing what you’re going through.
Just remember to be kind to yourself during this time. It’s okay to miss him and feel sad about the distance. You're navigating something really challenging, and that’s completely valid. Give yourself grace as you find your way through this. You’re doing your best, and that counts for a lot.
