I'm really lonely, please help
@indigoFriend2019 Maybe we can help you feel less lonely at least a little bit.
@indigoFriend2019 this always upsets me😢 my heart goes out to you ❤ I always question in a world full of billions of people, how can we let so many become lonely😞 I use this site to socialise that's all I do. Maybe there's a club you can join or a group. Perhaps a hobby could get you involved with the community. I wish you the best of luck ❤ gives you a giant festive tiny hug ❤❤ you will always have us ❤
@Tinywhisper11
I appreciate your compassion Tiny. <3

I'm so sorry Indigo. Laughing, journaling and talking to myself, deep breathing, yoga, movement. These are within myself. Then after doing these sometimes I can try to talk to others but I don't really expect any connection because it's hard to make connection. Sending you lots of love Indigo, I know it hurts so much because this is me right now.
@floatingLeaf4973 These sound like great things to do to feel well. I am curious about how you do your deep breathing. Care to share? ☺️
@magicalTree4461
How come you not know about deep breathing? I do the 4-7-8. 4 seconds inhale, 7 seconds holding, 8 seconds exhale. Using diaphram but sometimes also lungs. I do this along with some digestion yoga, it takes about 40 minutes for me because my mind is usually overwhelmed too much.
@floatingLeaf4973
To be clear, deep breathing can be done without the yoga but I do both together. And I don't do it everyday because it's tiring. My usual plan is to do 3 times per week.

I'm so sorry you’re feeling this way, I can totally relate. I hope you feel brave enough to venture out on one of the suggestions @Sociuosvj made.
Maybe you could post a little about yourself on the forums here and let people know you are looking for a friend? Listeners can then befriend you… that’s what I did, I’ve made some really supportive friends here that way, which helps to combat the loneliness.

Loneliness is extremely relatable. Once, I listened to the conventional advice offered to me - "make friends, join clubs, reach out". That's very useful and very useless at the same time.
I don't think it is possible to feel a sense of belonging unless you have a sense of comfort with yourself. At least, that's what happened to me. Loneliness is hard, it is crumbling and desolate. But you've always got yourself. You can create art, read stories, make history. When you do interesting things, you naturally connect to people a lot more - and a lot deeply. Connection is a basic human need, but to attain it, you need to learn to be alone and fulfilled.

Melon, your words resonate with me. I find your words really helpful about connecting with myself, I have understood what I was trying to do these days. "Join clubs" etc. isn't helpful because if you talk to people and it looks like they just want to glean compassion and attention from you, you feel so lonely and small, isolated. As if only they matter and you don't. This is my personal experience.
I have reached an impasse about connecting with myself. Before I was heart and soul about meeting my emotional needs by myself and listening to pain, but now even though I still do it, I feel like I need people too, otherwise I feel too isolated. I don't know what to do about that, if I don't talk to people I feel extreme pain and feel like I can't go through the day.

You're a teen, so we can't make a connection. Sending you lots of love and positive vibes. May we make it.

So to conclude, I think it's important to talk to others too to find belonging, because we want to hangout. But it takes time, because we are in different stages of life.
