I no longer want this...
Sooo I've had depression for a quarter of my life and was -finally- started on anridepressants almost a week ago , but I no longer want this life... bear with me I do want to live , but not THIS life , not "my" life , I mean what do I have to look for? I'm a medical student who can barely study for two freaking hours , so my future is doomed lol , I live in one of the most misogynistic countries out there , I'll never find a partner who'll respect me for who I am , nope , they want maids and children bearing machines , It's horrible here , I've started hating my own body for the amount of sexualization and harassment I go through daily , I wish I were a boy , not because i have gender dysphoria , but because maybe someone would love me then , maybe life would be worth living then... but now? I have nothing
if you feel the same or have anything to suggest that may help please let me know

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time. Depression can make everything feel hopeless and it's understandable that you're struggling to see a positive future right now. Starting antidepressants is a good step, but it can take some time for them to have an effect, so it's important to be patient and keep taking them as prescribed.
It sounds like you're dealing with a lot of difficult circumstances in your life, including living in a country with a misogynistic culture and experiencing sexualization and harassment. These issues are very hard to cope with and can definitely contribute to depression and feelings of hopelessness. It's important to remember that you are not alone in these experiences, and that there are people and resources available to help you.
Have you considered seeking therapy or counselling? Speaking with a mental health professional can help you work through your feelings and develop coping strategies to deal with the challenges you're facing. Additionally, there are online support groups and forums where you can connect with others who may be going through similar experiences.
It's also important to take care of yourself physically and emotionally. This means getting enough sleep, eating healthy foods, and engaging in activities that you enjoy. Even small actions, like going for a walk or spending time with your dog, can help improve your mood and provide a sense of purpose.
Please remember that your life is valuable and that there is hope for a better future. Keep reaching out for support and don't give up on yourself ❤️
