Loneliness Hole
Does anyone know how to fill it?
I'm 21 years old and since I was a child I felt lonely all the time
I go to therapy for 2 years and I still don't have a solution for that
I try my best to still alive but sometimes the dark waves takes me down
I found pleasure in pain and I don't know how to change that

🥺
I'm glad you are still here 🩵
It's important to not use pain as comfort, rather fund healthier coping mechanisms.
You are not alone here.
Talking helps 🩵

Hey! I think I understand. The hunger that loneliness creates.
I don’t have a perfect solution. It appears that it’s about learning to love yourself. However, I am not sure how doable it is if you don’t know/remember how being loved feels in you. I noticed that supporting others helped me with some of the hunger. Recently, I got to feel loved (not in a romantic sense but in a being met and seen sense). There is a term “internalization”. It means to learn to create that state within you by yourself. You could read about it or chat with AI.
Believe me, I know how this feeling might not be easily accessible. How to get there without that experience? I read a book “love yourself like if your life depends on it”. It has exercises that I found valuable. Like the simplest just repeating in your mind “I love myself” even if you first don’t believe it.
I think one of the ways out and solutions could be to try something new every day. It could be any kind of activity or hobby—you never know what you might enjoy doing until you try. Try looking for interest-based clubs or groups. The feeling of loneliness might fade away once you feel like you are in the right place, where you belong
