Medical Treatment and Mood
Hello!!
First, I am hoping to chat with people and build some connections and support here. I'd love to stay active and support you all.
I've never really had issues with depression. My issues were mainly anxiety related. However, I did experience a lot of stress which started affecting my sleep which then led to mood problems. However, something very interesting happened before I began feeling very depressed and that was I had some dental work done. No one really seems to think there is a connection but I have NEVER felt so bad In my life AFTER this procedure. I had a huge filling removed and replaced so I am not sure how it affected me, but it did. I now wake up in the middle of the night feeling super down. It's crazy! I know I need to go back and talk to the dentist but he said watch and wait to see if it gets better. Currently, it's achy. He literally took three hours to "reconstruct" this tooth. So, I think there is an immune system thing going on here. Any thoughts?
Everything on the body is somehow connected. Teeth in particular have a major influence on many things. Maybe you should get a second opinion somewhere.
