New Tinnitus diagnosis - Isolating

Hi everyone - I’m new here. I’ve recently had an increase in ringing in my ears the last couple of weeks. Sometimes it gets so loud I can hardly stand it. Needless to say, this is making my depression worse. I went to a store a couple of days ago with unexpected loud music that I could hear even with earbuds in. After finishing my shopping, the ringing was really bad the rest of the day. It does seems to be stress related and it does get less at times, which I’m grateful for. But I’m scared now to go back into a store now, even one I know for groceries. As a result, I’ve been isolating at home, which isn’t like me. Just trying to get a handle on this and I’m feeling very isolated and alone. Thanks for listening.
