Nothing
I hope things light up.
I need to know that all will be fine
Normalcy will return
These thoughts this mess
The linked emotions
Mostly negative
Going downhill
They start as a grain of thought
Growing spreading getting dark and ugly
Thorns and spikes everywhere hurting crushing
Happiness where are you lost?
Why cant i think straight?
Why is there a storm?
Waves of thoughts crashing one after another
Not quite reaching the shore
Not fulfilling their purpose
What is the purpose anyway?
How much should one think?
How much to feel?
All’s a jumbled mess
But now covered by a sheet
As white as the eyes that see nothing
Is that a good thing?
To be numb
To be thoughtless
So many questions
@kirangoingbright
The randomness of our thoughts captured in your poem.
The uncertainty.
The fear of the future.
The elusive nature of happiness.
Will it return?
Is it fleeting?
Hold it when it comes.
It does break through!
Thank you for your poem, the honesty, the vulnerability pouring through each line.
The simplicity, yet the captivity 💜💕
I can feel the emotions that we have poured out, feeling like you have no purpose and it just feels life your life is slipping away and it can feel overwhelming and eventually you fill empty or just... nothing.
